Family comes first
Christian understands that a home is where everyday family life happens. That perspective shapes the care, patience, and respect brought to every project.
About Us
For Christian Doggett, building well starts with caring about the people who will live, work, gather, and grow in the spaces he helps create.
Meet Christian Doggett
Christian's love for family and for this part of East Texas is at the heart of Doggett Construction. He knows a house is not simply lumber, concrete, and finishes. It is the place where children grow up, holidays are celebrated, and families build a life together.
That same sense of responsibility extends beyond the job site. Christian cares deeply about Coldspring and the surrounding communities—the schools, youth programs, local teams, small businesses, and neighbors that make this area feel like home. He believes strong communities are built when people take time to encourage one another and show up when it matters.
“Build it like your family will live there, and treat people like you will see them at the ballfield tomorrow.”

What guides us
Christian understands that a home is where everyday family life happens. That perspective shapes the care, patience, and respect brought to every project.
This is home. Doggett Construction is proud to serve Coldspring, San Jacinto County, the Lake Livingston area, and neighboring East Texas communities.
Being local means showing up, answering the phone, and standing behind your word. Christian wants every client to feel comfortable calling long after the work is done.
Doggett is more than a name on a truck. It is a family name, and Christian works to honor it through honest communication and dependable craftsmanship.

A family tradition
For Christian, family tradition means doing careful work, keeping your word, and leaving something solid for the next generation. Those values guide every new home, remodel, commercial project, and construction-management decision.
That is why Doggett Construction favors a personal, hands-on process. Christian listens carefully, explains decisions plainly, and keeps clients informed from the first site visit through the final walk-through. The goal is not only a finished project that looks right, but an experience that feels steady, respectful, and easy to trust.
Homes with roots. Craftsmanship that lasts.

Coldspring-Oakhurst community pride
Christian values the schools, coaches, families, and young athletes who bring our community together. Doggett Construction is proud to cheer for Trojan football, Lady Trojan volleyball, and the many local teams and youth programs that teach hard work, teamwork, and commitment.
Community appreciation only. No official sponsorship or endorsement is implied.
East Texas
Home, family, and neighbors
Proud to serve our neighbors
Christian is proud to call Coldspring home and to serve families throughout Shepherd, San Jacinto County, the Lake Livingston area, and surrounding East Texas communities. These are the places where his family lives, works, and grows—and where a handshake and a good reputation still mean something.
Doggett Construction approaches each project as an opportunity to take care of a neighbor: listening first, recommending what truly fits, and delivering quality work Christian is proud to put his family name behind.
A local promise
Christian wants every family and business owner to feel heard, respected, and confident in the work being done. The promise is simple: show up, communicate clearly, care for the details, and build something the whole community can be proud of.
